I started listening to flyleaf sometime in 2021. They were one the first bands that got me into metal and hard rock. I have a lot of nostalgia associated with them and their songs, especially with their 2014 and 2005 releases. Lacey has such a beautiful voice, and the instrumentals are angelic and at the same time riveting and harsh in the best way. Their lyrics are also so beautiful, especially on moneto mori. All around a severely underrated Christian rock group.
